Pandoro Templates

To make pandoro, I need to find the customary pans. I have looked high and low in Toronto and found nothing. I've found places on-line in the US, but none ship to Canada. I brought a picture of the pan to the John at the Engineering Student Machine Shop and he said it should be relatively simple to do. I made a paper mock up from card stock. Basically, I have a large circle measuring 16" in diameter with a small circle measuring 4" in diameter in the centre. There are then 16 spokes set evenly around the circle. On every second spoke, I measured 0.75" from the edge of the small circle and make a straight score to the base of the neighbouring spoke. When folded up, these small triangles allow those spokes to bend outward and the triangle-less spokes bend inward.
