[Hansel mentions being a class representative]
Andre says:
It's not worth it and you know it. Do you want me to restate what you already know but won't admit?
Hansel says:
i think that's a good idea (the meals are good, btw)
Andre says:
You absorb the random bitching of lazy malcontents who are unwilling to actually work for anything themselves due to apathy. Oh, sure, they are working hard at a computer engineering degree, but they really don't want to do any work that might actually insight them to become the focus of someone's anger, especially the person who is deciding thier work. They want to complain about everything to try to lighten thier load because they believe they have `earned it' by getting this far in thier education.
As if that wasn't enough, you have to take it on the otherside from a group of profs who are just apathetic students who got old and want to do as little work as possible to shut up the undergrad thorns in their sides. They cave to easy demands because they fear that actually doing something right would require more work than caving. Given the opportunity, they will turn you into the slave of thier own sloth.
And for what? A group of people, most of who you either dislike, have little respect for, or barely know because they shun your olive branch to create a sense of community in the class out of sloth, until they need something from you. Do you get thier respect? Admiration? Even thanks? No. What ever you do, you haven't done it good/fast/etc as you could have. And you are rewarded with a line of réumé padding that these people fake something better on in their own free time and meal that comes out of your tuition.
