What is Grinka?

What is Grinka?

Grinka is a word that has a history...
For my Mac SE, my friend gave me his old external SCSI harddisk from his SE. The drive, labled ``Gargoyles'', makes this desk shaking grinding noise when it reads or writes. This noise is affectionally known as a ``grinka''. Saying `grinka' initally meant ``I'm thinking'' to emulate the grinding when the SE was under load. It then evolved to ``you know what I'm thinking'' and finally to its current, more ambiguous, ``you should guess what I'm really thinking'', but it still retains all of its former meanings.

Do you, or do you think I'm mad?

Message to Andre
I'd like to say you're mad, but I'm the one who just listened to an hour of bad French.
